Brand Manager

Overview:
As our Brand Manager, you will be a key member of Leesa’s Growth team. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be highly motivated with a proven track record of building consumer brands. You understand what it takes to tell a compelling brand story and how to create a smart content marketing strategy. You’ll deliver everything from more targeted, time-sensitive marketing tactics to overarching, long-term programs. Working cross-functionally with other leaders across the business, you’ll help elevate Leesa to be one of the most reputable brands in the sleep industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • At a high level, the Brand Manager will be accountable for six areas:
  • Brand management
  • Consumer insights and journey
  • Content and influencer marketing
  • Public relations and marketing/communications
  • Organic social channels
  • Mission and social impact
  • Refine Leesa’s brand positioning and help craft external messaging that elevates the brand.
  • Use consumer insights to help inform and develop accurate Leesa customer journeys/touchpoints.
  • Partner across teams to help plan and execute marketing programs to create better brand awareness, support new product development, and drive revenue.
  • Analyze, monitor, and report on the impact of marketing programs against goals and objectives.
  • Leverage data and insights to identify and understand target audience segments (i.e. empty nesters, newly weds, college students, young professionals, influencers, etc.) and tailor our marketing efforts accordingly.
  • Work with the e-commerce, performance marketing, retail, and product teams to refine the annual marketing calendar that will drive category sales and brand engagement.
  • Create marketing briefs grounded in consumer insights with input from the product and e-commerce teams to help meet growth and engagement goals.
  • Partner with creative, retail, and ecommerce teams to ensure our brand messages are being communicated clearly and effectively across all customer touchpoints.
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative insights to improve marketing program KPIs.
  • Analyze marketing trends to identify new customer acquisition opportunities and report learnings to leaders across the business.

Qualifications:

  • Background in direct to consumer (DTC) brands and e-commerce.
  • Classically trained marketer from CPG or similar industries or brand agencies.
  • Deep experience with content and influencer marketing.
  • Proven track records of building consumer brands in small and nimble environments.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • High energy, resourceful attitude.
  • 5+ years of experience running integrated marketing programs.
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills with a high proficiency in developing project plans and creative briefs.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional role with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proficiency in Domo and other analytics tools a plus.
  • Curiosity in an environment of learning and growth.

Senior Product Manager

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and proven leader preferably with eCommerce or consumer facing experience, to join our technology department as a Sr. Product Manager. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for defining and executing the digital product vision and overall product roadmap for our entire product line. You have extensive expertise in bringing product management, user experience design, technology, analytics, and e-commerce together to create customer experiences that drive business outcomes. You have a passion for building productive cross functional relationships across an organization. You’re an expert at analyzing customer research, businesses and identifying the highest value opportunities to solve problems. You believe in an agile delivery methodology and shipping enhancements quickly and iteratively to drive incremental value, while preserving the broader customer experience vision over time. Most importantly, you know how to balance business needs, customer expectations, delivery timelines and technology constraints to deliver innovative experiences that ultimately lead to deep brand and product loyalty.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis

  • Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry and in general. Able to assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as make recommendations on which new technologies to invest in or leverage
  • Articulate market requirements and opportunities
  • Identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements
  • Understand and analyze data pipelines, algorithms, and automated systems
  • Use database queries to analyze performance indicators, evaluate experiments, etc.

Product Planning and Management

  • Determine product specifications
  • Define the long-term strategy of the product and create product road map
  • Prepare product documents including Market and Technical Requirement Documents and product use cases to drive product activity
  • Ability to work well with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, Customer Service, Ecommerce, Marketing, and operations. Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations

Product Marketing

  • Translate business strategies into product strategies, roadmaps, and product backlogs that deliver customer benefits, meet financial goals, and ensure that systems and processes are set up to scale for future growth
  • Plan product launches
  • Support sales and marketing with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise
  • Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product
  • Supply sales with latest research and marketing information
  • Implement cross functional product plans in conjunction with all departments
  • Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance

Customer and End-User Support

  • Manage product-related support, feedback, and inquiries from users
  • Coordinate market research to track customer and end-user feedback and use market feedback to inform product refinements and ongoing development
  • Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or corresponding years of equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in digital product management or similar roles required.
  • 2+ years working in an agile environment.
  • A strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate in a compelling manner, drive organizational excellence, and influence teams that are directly or indirectly managed.
  • Expert level knowledge and experience analyzing businesses and customers to create product strategies.
  • Expert level understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of different analysis methods and the right balance between qualitative and quantitative data to make low risk and fast paced decisions.
  • Deep experience with multiple source data and trend analysis such as social, analytics, customer feedback, customer service, etc.
  • Expert level ability to conduct cross functional and executive leadership workshops.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills that enable you to turn various qualitative and quantitative data sources into compelling and easily understood product strategies.
  • Understanding of the omnichannel retail industry because of work experience in similar settings.
  • Excellent oral and visual communication as well as analytical and creative thinking skills that can inspire and motivate team members and leadership alike to focus on recommended experience enhancement opportunities.

Accounting Specialist

Overview:
The Accounting Specialist’s main priorities will be recording the daily cash deposits, billing specific retail partner relationships and assisting in reconciling various general ledger accounts. In addition, this position will be engaged to assist in various financial analyses.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare month end closing entries and balance sheet reconciliations, as assigned.
  • Review and reconcile open sales order and purchase order reports.
  • Assist in month end financial statement preparation.
  • Flux analysis and explanation
  • Assist inventory reconciliation and variance analysis
  • Ability to perform all AP and AR functions during peak or staff vacations
  • Lead the day-to-day recording of bank deposits, and review / analyze Undeposited funds account daily, investigate variances and resolve timely.
  • Review A/R Aging (wholesale accounts assigned and direct to consumer) to identify past due accounts, investigate cause and resolve issues timely
  • Prepare specific retail invoices and enter/apply deposits daily.
  • Prepare Corporate credit card reconciliations, as assigned.
  • Assist A/P in analyzing and resolving vendor invoice reconciliation variances
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1-4 years’ accounting experience to include AR and AP, preferred
  • 2 year associates degree or higher, preferred
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of billing and collections standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail, motivated, able to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Ability to work as a team member, interact with all levels of employees throughout the organization.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and NetSuite, preferred.

Senior Manager Application Development

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and proven leader preferably with eCommerce and supply chain experience, to join our technology department as a Sr. Manager, Application Development. You will work closely with company partners, leaders and product owners/managers to bring the product vision to fruition. The position requires an authoritative understanding of software standard methodologies, technology systems, an ability to take on complex problems on the go, and a track record of delivering high quality technology in a dynamic environment. This is a hands on role in a growing company.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Builds staffing plans that ensure management and development teams are staffed with skill sets required to enhance existing systems as well as deliver new systems functionality required by the business.
  • Provides input for departmental budgets and work to manage operational and capital expenses to meet budget.
  • Work on business strategy to define a technical roadmap that’s compelling and focused on business growth, while collaborating with product managers across business.
  • Be a clear technical voice, working in partnership with your team to deliver an architecture which will scale with the needs of the business.

Technology and Systems

  • Recommends new technology directions in collaboration with Design and Enterprise Architecture teams.
  • Plans for and ensures that management and development staff have tools/skills required to perform job functions (workstations, software, servers, disk space, training, etc.).
  • Oversees data strategies, modeling, and enhanced data-related practices.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of industry best practices, and a deep understanding how data is extracted, transformed, scrubbed and loaded into a data warehouse with data originating from many source systems.
  • Designs and implements application integration across multiple cloud based solutions.
  • Firm understanding of EDI, preferably with a third party such as SPS Commerce.
  • Develop applications, components, and integrations.
  • Work with cloud based applications such as NetSuite, Shopify, Zendesk, Segment, Azure (logic apps and SQL), SPS Commerce, and Domo.

Project Management

  • Works with other management to understand project and business priorities and schedule work with development staff based on those priorities.
  • Constantly improves the development processes, tools and methodologies used in the development group.
  • Delivers high quality products on time and within budget.
  • Comfortable working in a combination of Agile software development and/or waterfall lifecycle methodologies, the Senior Manager will analyze the requirements, assist in development, and review of design documents and oversee unit testing.

Relationship and People Management

  • Oversees technical relationships with multiple assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases.
  • Effectively manages team to achieve results by providing appropriate direction, timely developmental feedback and coaching, and conducting performance reviews and conversations.
  • Provides coaching and direction to the team that drives action and enables achievement of performance and operational goals.
  • Develop and grow team members through coaching, feedback, and escalation support.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in design and understanding of development dynamics, particularly with respect to Rest API, MS SQL DB, C#, Logic Apps, and other technologies.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: Computer Science or in a digital-related field.
  • 7-10 Years: Experience developing large scale business systems applications.
  • 2-4 Years: Management experience with programming staff including leadership, planning, and coordination of development work for many ( >3) large projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate and build effective relationships with key project stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills in oral and written forms - ability to convey and understand complex ideas.

Traffic Manager

Overview:

The Traffic Manager is responsible for receiving, tracking, and shepherding all projects assigned to the Creative Team from inception through delivery. This person is a rock star facilitator, scheduler, and deadline enforcer who loves digging into the details and building out timelines. They know how to set expectations and prioritize with key stakeholders to help the Creative Team produce great work that’s on time and on brief. This role needs a creative problem solver with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming projects: Own the intake of new requests, ensuring all relevant information is captured in the initial brief. Assess the current Creative Team workload and help resource the work by business need, priority, and deadline. Help secure external resourcing for any work that’s out of scope for the in-house team.
  • Create timelines and facilitate reviews: Build timelines that help the Creative Team meet deadlines for delivery. Schedule and attend project kick-offs and/or live creative reviews and modify schedules based on feedback, revisions, rounds of review, etc.
  • Maintain project management tool/status updates: Learn our project management tool inside and out and use it to build timelines, maintain workflows, delineate tasks, and create status updates. Types of daily and/or weekly reporting items might include in-progress work, creative that’s out for review (awaiting feedback from stakeholders), upcoming projects, etc.
  • Creative delivery: Must work cross-functionally to ensure deliverables are understood, shared, and delivered in an efficient manner to project stakeholders.
  • Quality control: When time allows, be another set of hands and eyes to help a small team get the details right across a high volume of assets.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a mid-level traffic specialist role. Preferably for an agency or premium omni-channel consumer brand where you’ve had exposure to a broad range of projects (web, digital, and print).
  • 4-year degree or equivalent. You possess excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills, with an eye for what looks and feels right, and you know how to “read the room.”
  • You have tricks. You know how to make the most of tracking spreadsheets and cross-functional project management tools and platforms. Bonus points if you’ve used Monday.com!
  • A master of time management. You have a knack for understanding how long creative projects take—from small, quick-turn requests to larger, more complex work.
  • A systems thinker. You delight in using tools and processes to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously and are comfortable being flexible with shifting deliverables or priorities.
